BASIL! Waggy of The Week!

Don't let the grey hairs fool you, Basil is a feisty 5 year young rat terrier mix who is looking for a new home!

Basil is tennis ball loving pup who weighs 17 lbs, is up to date on his shots, and is fully crate trained. He also knows commands like sit, stay, down and off. Basil loves going for walks and behaves very well on his leash. He is friendly towards other dogs he meets on his walks and likes to greet them with a polite sniff.

When off-leash, Basil sticks very close to his humans and at home he is a complete lap dog. He quickly warms to new people after a bark or two and is not shy about seeking out affection - he'd gladly curl up on an available lap for the entire day if he could!

Basil is currently in a home with two small children, and while he tolerates their antics he would be much happier in a home with older kids, teenagers or adults only.
