We are starting a new feature on the Waggy blog - a weekly catch up with one of our alumni!

The first Waggy Graduate we'd like to share is Harper (formerly Sissy) who was adopted in October 2014 as a teeny tiny puppy!

From Harper's mom:

"Harper is originally from Bristol, Tennessee and is about 8 months old now. She is the sweetest puppy ever! She sleeps next to us every night and loves to cuddle and give kisses. She loves to play at home with her toys and with other dogs walking by or at the dog park. She has brought so much happiness and joy into our lives and we couldn't imagine life without her....

...We take her everywhere with us, she definitely is a dog that loves to travel whether we're on the train, subway or in the car. Her favorite food is peanut butter and she loves all kids from babies to teenagers. She is very loved by my boyfriend Ryan and I and our friends and family members so much in fact that we even named our Zog Sports touch football team after her, Harper's Heroes. If we win our league all money will go to support other rescue dogs like Harper. I have included a photo of our team with the personalized black and white jerseys that have Harper's photo on the front."

Kristin, Harper's adopter, runs a bakery in NYC called Kristin's Mini Bakeshop and is generously donating dozens of cookies for us to pass out at the Best Friend's Super Adoption Event this Friday, Saturday and Sunday! So stop by, have a delicious cookie and, hopefully, adopt one of our dogs!

We are always thrilled to hear how our Waggytail Graduates are doing in ther new homes and we'd love to hear from you if you have adopted from us in the past. Please send us your Waggy Graduate story and cute pictures of your furry family member to waggymedia@gmail.com! Thank you for adopting a rescue animal!
