Getting photographs of our recently adopted pups from their new families is just one of the perks of running the Waggytail blog, all those happy smiling faces! This July was no exception, with 14 of our adoptables graduating to being Waggy Alumni!
It has been an excellent month for our Waggy West dogs, with SEVEN cuties rescued from high kill shelters in LA and finding freedom and love with families in LA and NYC! Jesse and Natalie (now Olive) stole the hearts of folks on the West coast and were adopted in California!

Jesse's siblings Holly and Andy (now Oliver!) were flown to NYC with Piper (adopted last month!) and her sister Heidi! All three came on a Wings of Rescue flight, arriving safe and sound at the end of June (Holly and Andy, Heidi) and all were adopted in July!

Chloe and Dexter also made the trip over from LA, Chloe with a volunteer chaperone and Dexter in cargo. Chloe made a big splash at BarkLive's Barkfest in Brooklyn, and was adopted very soon after! Dexter was adopted by his foster!

In more AWESOME news, three more of our Texas Puppy Mill rescue pus found their forever homes this month! Sabrina and Ducky were both adopted by their fosters, and sweet Marlee caught the eye of her new mom thanks to some beautiful photographs by Leda Photography (taken at a Foster Dogs NYC adoption event!)

And last but by no means least, Luna, Ariel, Nerf and Arya (kitten) were also adopted!! Thanks to tinamarney.com for pictures of Luna and Nerf, and of course a HUGE THANKS to all our fosters who cared for these dogs with so much love and care until they found their forever homes!
August is already heating up! So many adoptions already! If you would like to DONATE to help us keep moving our rescue efforts forward, please do! Not only do we cover routine shots, spay/neuter and microchipping of all our animals, we also take care of immediate veterinary needs. This month that has included a very costly echocardiogram and multiple vet visits for one of our dogs and these costs quickly add up!
