We had a whopping 21 adoptions during the month of January starting the new decade with a woof and a wag. As always we thank every shelter, transporter and volunteer for their time and effort. Without them we would not have been able to save these precious lives. Here's some stories in particular that stand out (though every single pup has a special tale to tell).
Zoey (black and white 2nd on the bottom left), arrived from Tijuana back in April of 2019, and was so scared that it took all these months with a patient loving foster to get her to trust! She luckily found the perfect adopter and went to her furever home in January.
Dolce and Gabbana are 10 year old bonded Poodle sisters who were just left by their family. They were in a Los Angeles shelter when someone offered to fly them to NYC. They moved in together to a wonderful home in no time!
And Penny Lane (top row, second in on the right) flew in from Dallas and before her little paws had time to adjust she was already adopted by her furever human.
It's been an amazing experience for everyone and we are all thrilled. Here they are (not in order):
Duke, Willy, Petal, Hope, JJ, Naomi, Cowboy, Zoey, Snoopy, Nash, Woodstock, Maverick, Amaya, Penny, Ellie, Forest, Sleepy, Dolce, Gabbana, Brenda, Noelle.
